This is a dry gravel, that should be fully rinsed before use to remove any dust, but by being dry, you won't be paying for any excess water weight, and it still contains all the beneficial bacteria that is in all dry and wet substrates.

This substrate supports the health of your tank by stabilising calcium and alkalinity of the waters, which not only assists with general wellbeing, but also boosts coral growth. Seachem Gray Coast is also high in magnesium, which is an essential nutrient for fish.
How do I use Seachem Gray Coast?
To use Gray Coast, you should rinse well first to remove residual dust. Place into your aquarium and scape as required. When filling the tank, be careful not to disturb the substrate as this will cause a cloudiness, which will decrease over time, especially with the use of a filter floss. You will need one 3.5kg bag per 30cm2 of aquarium base, at a depth of 2cm.
