What is NT Labs Satus?

NT Labs Satus rapidly establishes and accelerates the maturing of aquarium filters. Satus contains the innovative ‘Satus organism’ capable of rapidly removing ammonia without relying on the traditional, slower nitrifying cycle. Working under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions, the ‘Satus organism’ can also degrade organic compounds which bacteria cannot. It has a higher metabolic rate that provides faster breakdown of organic wastes to prevent them building up in the aquarium.

Key Features:

  • Rapidly establishes and accelerates the maturing of aquarium filters
  • Quickly removes ammonia
  • Prevents relying on the slower nitrifying cycle
  • Degrades organic compounds that bacteria cannot
  • Prevents build‐up of organic waste in the aquarium
  • Prevents 'new tank syndrome'
  • Helps create a safer environment for fish
  • Designed to be used alongside NT Labs Optimus
  • Easy to dose with

NT Labs Satus also contains a concentrated unique blend of heterotrophic and autotrophic organisms, including aerobic and anaerobic nitrifying bacteria that rapidly remove harmful ammonia and nitrite by converting them into nitrates, and will not produce hydrogen sulphide. This process prevents toxic ‘new tank syndrome’ providing a safer environment for your fish.

NT Labs Optimus should also be used alongside NT Labs Satus when starting up new aquariums, during water changes, and as part of a regular maintenance routine.

How do I dose with NT Labs Satus?

NT Labs Satus is very easy to use. Simply calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres to make sure you are adding the correct dosage. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use and turn off the UV/ozone. Turn back on 2 hours after adding Satus.
