T5 Light Units

T5 light units are luminaires or lighting canopies that are designed to take T5 fish tank lighting tubes. These tubes are slimmer and more efficient than the older T8 tubes.

The T5 is 40% slimmer in size, so can physically fit more in the same space. It has a better light spectrum, greater brightness and has reduced power consumption. It can save around 30% energy compared to the T8 and can last up to 25% longer. Used in conjunction with a light unit will ensure the best performance and optimum results.
