In Coral aquariums, Calcium and Magnesium need to be closely monitored to ensure the right conditions are available for your coral's health, and you can check this with a JBL Magnesium / Calcium Test Set (Mg+Ca) test kit.

Test for both Calcium and Magnesium with this quick and simple test kit from JBL. The Mg & Ca Test Set uses a drop test system to measure the amounts of magnesium and calcium in your aquarium.
Both are used by corals, invertebrates and coralline algae for healthy skeletal formations and strong shells. In a well-stocked tank, these levels are naturally depleted so must be checked and restored routinely for a healthy tank.
The set includes full instructions; work out the total measurement of magnesium and calcium, then measure the calcium level and subtract from the total for the magnesium reading.
- For use in salt water aquariums.
- 2 year shelf life (unopened).
- Recommended level in marine aquarium: Approx. 400 - 440mg/l, Mg 1200 - 1400mg/l.
This test kit will be replaced by JBL Pro Aquatest Mg-Ca Magnesium-Calcium.
